Virginia will be teaching a 3-day Landscape Pastel Workshop this fall:Location:Booth Western Art Museum, Cartersville, Georgia.
Dates: November 12 - 14th
Times: 9:00am - 5:00 pm
Cost: Members of the museum $270.00; non-members $295.00
This studio workshop is for the beginner to intermediate pastel painter who is interested in learning and improving painting and "seeing" skills, developing stronger compositions and moving toward a more personal and unique statement about the landscape.

About Virginia's Workshops
Virginia is available for workshops, teaching and demonstrations for art groups, guilds and art societies or for group instruction.Workshops: Studio – (at facility) or Plein Air Workshops Locally (within a 45 mile radius from Rock Hill, SC) can be arranged for 1, 2 or 3 days Out of State – 3 day workshops only
Workshops can be arranged for beginners, intermediate and experienced pastel painters. Please contact Virginia via email for additional information about teaching at your art facility.
Virginia has studied under nationally known pastel instructors throughout her career and continues her education with working artists and through membership in pastel societies.
Workshop structure: Discussion and instruction of laying in shape masses, value, planes in relationship to the landscape, composition (design) elements, painting key, aerial perspective, color and color temperature, and light as to how it affects things in nature.
